Abstract: Arabic journalism and literature developed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after fifties of the Twentieth century. Muhammed Abdullah Al Malaibari the Pioneer of the modern Saudi Arabian journalism and the head of many Saudi Arabian Magazines and newspapers is considered one of the geniuses of writers in Kingdom and the Gulf. He is from a family that Migrated from India and settled in the Arabian Peninsula and Contributed to the enrichment of culture and literature in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He worked as editor, chief editor and director in Several News papers and magazines, such as Al-Riyadh,Al Bilad Al-Saudi,Al-Nadwa,Qurais Magazine, and others .He is one of the founding members of the “Okaz” foundation for press and publishing. He wrote in Arabic Magazines and Newspapers inside and outside of Saudi Arabia, he contributed to preparing the first play in Makkah. He has several collections of stories, and was a genius in children’s literature and literary criticism. He contributed to the revitalization of various literary arts such as story, novel ,play and history in the Kingdom and other Gulf countries .He has a good relationship with the Arabic literature of Kerala and India. He wrote in the Al-Bushra Magazine published from Kerala He made an effective contribution to the field of journalism in addition to his literary, cultural and intellectual works .This Paper Discusses development of Arabic journalism that took place during his reign in the kingdom, and discusses the contributions of Mohammed Abdullah Al malabari in the field of Arabic journalism and literature in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
